Everything You Need To Know About The Love Is In The Air Event In WoW

Make love, not Warcraft.

What's that smell? Love is in the air across the World of Warcraft, and this means there are plenty of romantic Valentine-themed activities for you to do. Uncover a secret malicious plot and defeat a dungeon boss for a chance at an awesome mount!

Every February, the sweet scent of perfumed guards and boxes of chocolates arrives in Azeroth. There are plenty of items to collect that are only available during the Love is in the Air event, so don't miss out!

From February 6 until February 20, you’ll be able to take part in the Love is in the Air event. There are plenty of activities to do, especially dailies, rewarding you with Love Tokens to be exchanged for fun items such as mounts and toys.

During the Love is in the Air event, you can complete several daily quests and a main quest chain from the vendors and quest-givers of the various cities. These will reward you with Love Tokens that can be turned in at a Lovely Merchant for goodies.

Kill five Crown Technicians and use Snagglebolt's Khorium Bomb to destroy one chemical wagon. This quest can take place in several zones.

Collect the other parts of the Crown Chemical Company's recipe, then return to Inspector Snip Snagglebolt in Stormwind or Detective Snap Snagglebolt in Orgrimmar.

Something is in the Air (and it Ain't Love)

You can begin this quest if you receive the Faded Lovely Greeting Card from Apothecary Hummel in Shadowfang Keep. Bring the Faded Lovely Greeting Card to Inspector Snip Snagglebolt in Stormwind or Detective Snap Snagglebolt in Orgrimmar.

You can queue for the dungeon through the Group Finder, where you can change the dropdown menu to The Crown Chemical Co. This will put you in queue for the dungeon in Shadowfang Keep. This is a single boss instance, so it takes no time at all to finish, similar to the Hallow's End version in October. You can also speak to the dungeon master, Steamwheedle Shyster, in any of the main cities.

You’ll receive a Heart-Shaped Box upon completion, and this box has a chance to drop the mount, X-45 Heartbreaker.

With the addition of the Trading Post on February 1, 2023, you can now earn Travel Points towards your Travel Log by completing event/holiday activities.

You’ll need the Romantic Picnic Basket toy, which can be bought from the Lovely Merchant for ten Love Tokens. Use the toy anywhere in the Ohn’ahran Plains and you’ll complete this activity.

You’ll need the Peddlefeet's Hearthstone toy. It can be bought from the Lovely Merchant for 150 Love Tokens. Use the toy anywhere in the Dragon Isles and you’ll complete this activity.

Love is in the Air: Kill Apothecary Hummel

You’ll need to complete the Crown Chemical Co. dungeon, which is a single boss instance that requires you to kill Apothecary Hummel. You can queue for the instance through the dungeon finder or via Steamwheedle Shyster, a dungeon master found in major cities.

This quest requires you to throw ten chocolate samples at people.

You’ll need a total of 120 Lovely Charms to make 12 bracelets. These charms are dropped by any creature that grants honour or experience.

Dangerous Love

Assist the Steemwheedle Cartel in stopping the sinister Crown Chemical Co. plot.

Complete the quest chain that begins with Detective Snap Snagglebolt in Orgrimmar or Inspector Snip Snagglebolt in Stormwind.

Sweet Tooth

Sample the Love is in the Air candies listed below.

These items are contained in a Box of Chocolates which can be bought from a Lovely Merchant for ten Love Tokens. It's best to eat these in either old or new Dalaran whilst using the Romantic Picnic Basket with another player. This is so you’ll also get credit towards the achievement Lonely?

My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose

Obtain a Bouquet of Red or Ebon Roses during the Love is in the Air celebration.

The Boquets of Red or Ebon Roses drop from dungeon bosses. We recommend trying The Stonecore on normal as it seems to have a high drop chance.

Shafted!

Shoot ten players with the Silver Shafted Arrow.

You’ll firstly need to buy the companion Truesilver Shafted Arrow for 40 Love Tokens. Then buy ten arrows (two stacks of five), target other players, and shoot them with the arrows. Your companion will fire the arrow that counts towards this achievement.

Lonely?

Enjoy a Buttermilk Delight with someone in Dalaran at a Romantic Picnic during the Love is in the Air celebration.

You’ll need the Romantic Picnic Basket toy and then use it in either new or old Dalaran. Another player must join you by clicking your basket. Then you can eat the Buttermilk Delight. If you have a second account, you can complete this achievement by using one of the characters on your second account.

Use a Handful of Rose Petals on each of the race/class combinations listed below.

Be Mine!

Eat the eight ‘Bag of Heart Candies’ listed below.

Buy a Bag of Heart Candies from a Lovely Merchant and use them until you have eaten every variant. You may need to buy multiple bags depending on how lucky you are to get all of the candies.

I Pitied The Fool

Pity the Love Fool in the locations specified below.

Buy five of the Love Fool item from a Lovely Merchant. This will cost you 50 Love Tokens. Then use the item in the specified locations, then click on it, and type ‘/pity’.

Flirt With Disaster

Get completely smashed, put on your best perfume, throw a handful of rose petals on Sraaz (for alliance) or Jeremiah Payson (for horde), and then kiss him. You'll regret it in the morning.

The Rocket's Pink Glare

Shoot off ten Love Rockets in 20 seconds or less.

The easiest way to complete this achievement is to buy ten of the Love Rocket item (two stacks of five) for ten Love Tokens. Move the items to your action bar temporarily so it is faster to use them, then quickly click the ground next to you to throw the rocket. Use all ten of them as fast as you can!

Lovely Luck Is On Your Side

Open a Lovely Dress Box and receive a Lovely Black Dress.

This achievement purely comes down to luck, as the name may give away. Purchase The Lovely Dress Box from a Lovely Merchant and hope that there's a black dress inside! Each box costs ten Love Tokens.

Nation of Adoration

Complete the Lovely Charm Bracelet daily quest for each Horde capital.

Complete the Lovely Charm Bracelet daily quest for each Alliance capital.

Perma-Peddle

Obtain a permanent Peddlefeet pet by procuring a Truesilver Shafted Arrow.

You can buy the Truesilver Shafted Arrow from a Lovely Merchant for 40 Love Tokens.
