Plus, Colin's had a makeover for the occasion!
If you're a fan of the Royal Family and love a collectible keepsake, then you'll be pleased to hear that M&S has just launched a limited edition collection of commemorative tins and tasty food items to mark the Coronation of HM King Charles III.
With lots of celebrations, and plenty of events scheduled for the long weekend, brands such as Emma Bridgewater, Biscuiteers, Fortnum & Mason and Cartwright & Butler have also jumped at the opportunity and all released gorgeous memorabilia for the occasion — and we expect even more to follow in the lead up to the Coronation.
M&S's new collection features biscuit tins (£6 for 450g) and tea boxes (£5 for 200g) so you can pair them together for the ultimate afternoon tea snack.
The biscuit tins are filled with traditional all butter shortbread biscuits which use an exclusive to M&S recipe that are baked in Edinburgh, Scotland.
While the tea tins are filled with 80 of the grocers' well-loved Fairtrade English Breakfast tea bags which makes the perfect partner to the shortbread biscuits.
These gorgeous tins come in two colours — a vibrant regal purple shade and a creamy white shade, both adorned with a gold embossed design on the front. They will make the perfect gift for any royal fans, or a great addition to any street parties you might be attending.
Along with the limited edition, reusable tins, M&S has also launched a really adorable Coronation Colin cake and other delicious picnic items such as the Coronation Sponge Cake, adorned with edible crown decorations, a giant Honey Roast Ham Sausage Roll, King of Everything chocolate crowns for a sweet treat and a giant Coronation Coin for the kids to snack on.
