Star Wars in Spotlight for Disney100 May Celebrations, New Lightsaber Accessories Coming to Galaxy's Edge
The official Disney Parks blog shared some exciting information regarding new merchandise at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and online for Disney100.
Part of this announcement includes lightsaber-related additions at Savi's Workshop and Dok Ondar's Den of Antiquities in Disneyland and Disney's Hollywood Studios:
Star Wars fans can get their hands on new collectibles from Disney Parks throughout the month of May, including recently released new pieces that guests can use while building a lightsaber at Savi's Workshop at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. While visiting Batuu, be sure to check out all the new accessories, including a Lightsaber stand, attachable kyber crystal holders, and more. Plus, new Legacy Lightsaber collectible hilts will be available at Dok Ondar's Den of Antiquities in Disney Parks and on shopDisney beginning May 4 and throughout the month of May.
These products are just a few of a longer line-up announced today, commemorating Star Wars throughout May as part of the bigger Disney100 festivities and promotions.
Check out some of the upcoming perks and offerings as the Star Wars franchise enters the spotlight this month for the ongoing centennial celebration.
Three new Funko Pop! figures are being introduced, one inspired by friendly droid companion R2D2, with the other two featuring Darth Vader with his lightsaber and on his TIE Bomber, respectively.
On May the Fourth, discounts up to 60% (varying by retailer and region) will be available for "LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga" on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.
Additionally, "Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes" will offer free daily login perks throughout the month of May, character shards, and more to be announced.
Wristwatches inspired by Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader will soon join Citizen's Disney Wonder of Time array of 100th anniversary products.
For fans of the "Disney Emoji Blitz" mobile game, this month's Token Quest is all Star Wars, offering players the chance to collect Platinum Grogu.
The Disney100 Star Wars PEZ Gift Tin is launching, with a six-pack of PEZ candy refills included.
There are several more items featured this month, with a larger listing in the Parks blog post. LEGO sets, books, and conversation cards are all in the mix of May the Fourth goods.
Walt Disney World announced monthly themes to celebrate the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company over the next several months. April focused on Earth Day, the 25th anniversary of Disney's Animal Kingdom, and Disney's conservation efforts.
In Florida, the festivities will mostly be concentrated around EPCOT, and both Mickey and Minnie will don their platinum outfits for guests. A new Spectacle of Light show will debut on Spaceship Earth, and, in late 2023, a new nighttime spectacular will premiere to replace "Harmonious." Journey of Water Inspired by Moana, CommuniCore Hall, World Celebration Garden, and Dreamers Point are all scheduled to open in late 2023 at EPCOT.

The 100 Years of Wonder celebration is in full swing at Disneyland Resort, where guests can enjoy "Wondrous Journeys" at Disneyland and "World of Color – ONE" at Disney California Adventure. Beginning next month, Disneyland Resort will offer the "Celebrating Disney100 at the Disneyland Resort" guided tour, including a walk through both parks, the drawing experience at Animation Academy, a digital download of a photo taken in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, a special snack, reserved viewing for "Magic Happens" parade, and limited-edition pin.
