How to get a personalised 1kg tin of Quality Street as it makes change to iconic wrappers

Sep 28, 2023

CHOCOLATE lovers can get their hands on a personalised tin of Quality Streets this Christmas.

The choc-filled tubs have long been a festive favourite and shoppers have the chance, once again, to get their hands on a personalised 1kg tin.

The Quality Street website is giving people the chance to chose which sweets they want to fill up their tub, before getting it personalised with their name on the lid - or someone else's if it's a gift.

John Lewis is also bringing back its popular pop-up, Quality Street pick and mix stands at its 18 stores nationwide.

They will return to Oxford Street on October 10 and the remaining stores shortly after.

Previously there have been huge queues to get the tubs in John Lewis stores, with people even waiting two hours to land them.

The stores that will have host the Quality Street pop ups are as follows:

There are 11 sweets which appear in the pick and mix selection.

You can even choose just one type of sweet and avoid any flavours you don't like.

You can choose from the following sweets:

The personalised pick and mix is available online now for £20.49 with an added £3 standard delivery charge.

But if you don't have any particular favourites, you can select an 11 standard sweet mix and still get a personalised tin.

You can also add a free, personalised message with your tin to send to a loved one.

It comes after manufacturer Nestle announced it was axing its brightly coloured plastic wrappers after 86 years.

The selection box treats will now be covered in a vegetable-based wax instead of the classic shiny foil in a bid to become more environmentally friendly.

The Sun recently revealed the cheapest places to buy Quality Street this year.

Tesco is selling 600g Quality Street tubs for £4 - this is not a special deal or Clubcard price.

On the pricier side, Sainsbury's has its 600g tubs on sale for £5 - not on offer.

As always, remember to check elsewhere in case we missed a cheaper price - there's never a bad time to catch a bargain.

Prices may vary day to day as well depending on what deals are on, so make sure you check, and look at delivery costs too if you're ordering online.

There's a handy comparison site - Trolley.co.uk - which compares the prices of 130,000 products across 14 major supermarkets.

The Latest Deals app also lets you search items and lets you compare prices at several supermarkets to see where it's cheaper.
