Super Bowl 2024 watch parties in Kansas City for Chiefs vs 49ers

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Chiefs are headed to Las Vegas for a Super Bowl rematch against the San Francisco 49ers.

While thousands of Chiefs fans will head to Sin City for the big game, most will stay close to home in Kansas City. But you don’t have to watch Super Bowl LVIII from your couch.

There are plenty of Super Bowl watch parties taking place all over the Kansas City area. Here are a few worth checking out.

The Kansas City Power & Light District is always jam-packed for major sporting events, and Super Bowl LVIII will likely be no exception. The Red Kingdom Block Party will feature live music, giveaways, photo opportunities and, of course, the Chiefs vs 49ers on a massive screen.

After seeing over 10,000 Chiefs fans for last year’s watch party, organizers expect record-breaking attendance again this year. The event is open to those 18 and older.

As the official Chiefs watch party, get ready for the game with the Rumble Drumline, KC Wolf and Chiefs alumni. Fans can also enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet and grab a drink from J. Rieger while watching the Super Bowl. Organizers will also raffle off signed Trey Smith and Charles Omenihu footballs during the game.

Walk-ins are welcome in the Tasting Room and Atrium, which is first-come, first-served seating. That space will have a special game day menu.

You can “tail-gate” and watch the Super Bowl at Bar K, KC’s dog park and riverfront bar. Both two-legged and four-legged Chiefs fans are invited to this party. If you show up in a Chiefs jersey, you can receive a free “Go Chiefs” bandana, while supplies last.

Westport bar Tin Roof is ready to host Chiefs fans for a massive Super Bowl party. With dozens of big screen TVs, Tin Roof says there’s not a bad seat in the house. DJ Highnoone and DJ Nick Niemer will be leading the party all night.

Reservations are already sold out, but fans can still grab a seat on a first-come, first-served basis with plenty of standing room available. Organizers recommend arriving early.

The crew at Dave & Buster’s are inviting Chiefs fans to spend Super Bowl Sunday in KCK. Admission includes premium seating, access to an appetizer bar and prize opportunities.

Arcade bar DoubleTap KC will have plenty of specials before and during the game, plus DJ Mic will be there to hype up the crowd. Special table reservations are available here for bigger groups.
